Thomas Jung was born 1975 into a family of scientists and musicians. He studied piano at the Academy of Music in Basel followed by a stage at the Moscow Conservatory.
In 2000 he joined the team of Konzertgesellschaft, he became the director and owner of the company in 2009. In his new position he enlarged the company’s concert activities as well as the worldwide management of artists and orchestral tours. Since many years he closely collaborates with Valery Gergiev and the Mariinsky Orchestra St. Petersburg among other orchestras.
As of January 1st 2020 Thomas Jung took over the Agence de concerts CAECILIA and is now responsible for 10 concert series in Basel, Geneva and Zürich, both agencies having become a market leader in Switzerland, producing around 70 concerts per season.
CAECILIA also manages a portfolio of over 40 artists and organises various orchestral tours throughout the world.
