The Festival Orchestra returns for its third musical season in Valais. Constituted specially for the occasion, this ad-hoc ensemble demonstrates the close links uniting the festival and the professional musical institutions of the region. Mainly composed of students from the HEMU and supervised by professionals, these young people can share the skills with the Sion community while improving their orchestral practice. Felix Froschhammer is the competent and demanding conductor, infusing the ensemble with unity, coherence and expression.
