Final

Description Description Beschreibung

The Tibor Junior Competition is unique among its kind and the Foundation Sion Violon Musique is very proud to put in place the second edition of this singular competition, following the success of the first iteration, in 2018. Valuing youth and putting the spotlight on the great artists of our near future is an important mission that an ambitious festival must honour. Pavel Vernikov, at the origin of this innovative project, wished to offer musicians aged 14 to 17 the opportunity to confront the demanding exercise of a competition while welcoming them within a unique pedagogical system.

The young artists will thus have the chance to display all their prowess with an orchestra, but also to play with each other, in duets or with members of the jury. The competition is intended to be demanding but “with a human face”, to allow candidates the richness of a fruitful exchange, stimulating technical perfection as well as creativity and musicality. This joyful and healthy emulation will allow these young talents to affirm their artistic personalities while progressing in a nurturing environment. For the exercise to be complete, however, one thing remains: the eyes of a rigorous but encouraging audience, necessary for the development of these instrumentalists. So, come in great numbers to this final to support the youth and prepare the musical talent of tomorrow. We are counting on you!
